As we get closer to the 2020 Election, Democrats fight over the nomination. Already they are launching attacks against Donald Trump. The biggest has been to hit him over the economy. Really? Democrats want voters to think that Americans aren’t doing well, under Trump’s leadership. But the facts tell a very different story.
The moment Trump entered office, the economy began to turn around. Actually, it began to turn around the day after he was elected. The stock market took a sharp turn up, and has continued to soar ever since.
Seems like stock brokers were confident that a businessman in the White House meant good things for the economy.
And it has. Donald Trump quickly slashed government regulation. Calling it “stealth tax” he eliminated 100 old regulations for every knew one passed by an agency. Those heavy rules hampered companies’ ability to turn a profit. After that, things got very interesting.
At the end of 2017, Trump did the impossible and got the GOP to pass historic tax reform. The moment it was passed, companies announced they would be giving out bonuses, raises, and increased charitable contributions.
Since then the economy’s been growing by leaps and bounds. There are now more job openings available than people to fill them! The unemployment rate is at record-breaking lows, especially for minorities and women.
Wages are up, taxes are down, and opportunity abounds. This was no fluke, it was the work of President Trump.
Yet today, left-wing candidates vying for the White House are trying to convince voters that the economy is in the toilet. But they’re having a hard time at it.
Multiple 2020 Democratic candidates are scrambling to put a negative spin on the state of the economy, with some resorting to incorrect or overblown suggestions that workers have to hold down two or three jobs to merely “survive” in the U.S.
Sens. Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke – all three leading Democrats running for the party’s presidential nomination — have claimed in some form that workers are struggling in the economy that has so far defied odds with a historically low unemployment rate. Oh, that’s pretty sad. Up until now, Democrats have tried to hammer Trump over his immigration policy. They’ve spread slander to make him appear cruel or even racist. But these candidates know they can’t win with just that lie alone. So, they are trying to convince you that Trump has been bad for the economy.
What a joke!
Kamala Harris admitted the stock market is doing great and that unemployment is down. But then she claimed that many people are “working two and three jobs” just to get by. Um… where does she get her facts?
The reality is the number of people working 2 or more jobs is very low. Only 251,000 workers out of 156 MILLION have two full-time jobs last month. That’s down 100,000 from last years.
Bernie Sanders does the same thing, saying “millions of Americans” are forced to work 2 or 3 jobs just to survive. Again, not accurate. He doesn’t say these people are working full or part-time jobs. And he ignores the many millions more who are gainfully employed with just one job.
Only 5% of the workforce has more than one job. That doesn’t sound like the crisis Bernie makes it out to be.
Beto seems to use the same argument about people working two jobs. Yet he’s just as wrong.
Dang, they all seem to push the same talking points. As if, they all got together and colluded over what narrative to push.
The fact remains that Donald Trump has made good on his promise to be the best jobs president ever. Americans are working, with higher wages and better jobs. The Democrats can’t ignore that reality, so they desperately spin these false notions.
In only two years, Trump turned around eight years of failure. Imagine what he’ll do in the next two, or four?
It’s definitely worth reelecting him just to find out!
