AOC Attends Ritzy Event With Embarrassing Display Of ‘Activism’

Wow, the level of cringe is off the charts. AOC is truly an embarrassment to American politics.

On Monday, the Democratic Socialist showed up to one of the most elite events in the country, the Met Gala in New York City, wearing a strapless white dress with the words “tax the rich” in red lettering on the back side.

Many noted the incredible level of hypocrisy AOC displayed by attending event of the some of the richest celebrities in the country, many of whom do not get charged the $35,000 ticket price for attendance. It’s unclear whether AOC had to fork over the money to attend.

Conservatives on social media could barely witness AOC’s eye-rolling display without mentioning just how ridiculous her message was. While her ‘tax the rich’ mantra has been a mainstay in AOC’s political ideology, it’s become evident that she doesn’t mean the elite.

She wants to tax you. Successful, working Americans who have benefited from the fruits of their labor. Hollywood liberal elite are safe from AOC’s scolding.

Another Twitter critic pointed out the irony of bringing an anti-elitist messenger joyfully joining the elite at the gala:

The designer of AOC’s dress, Aurora James, founder and creative director of Brother Vellies and the founder of the 15 Percent Pledge, which calls on retailers to commit 15% of their shelves to Black-owned businesses, claimed her and the New York congresswomen “can never get too comfortable in our seats at the table once they’ve been given.”

Um, what?

Trump overarching point is proven right again. His claim that everything woke “turns to s***” is completely applicable here.

Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy tweeted a message on the apparent display of hypocrisy:
