President Trump brilliantly strategized to remove U.S. troops by brokering peace deals between the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and the U.S. As a result, many attacks on U.S. forces halted and troops were safely returned home. Biden has thrown this strategy out the window. He’s yet to commit to a removal strategy and remains vague as to when one could occur.
“And so we’re in consultation with our allies as well as the government and that decision is going to be…is in process now,” he stated. “I don’t think a lot longer.”

President Trump ordered thousands of troops to return home during his tenure in the White House, leaving about 2,500 in Afghanistan. It appears the White House is struggling to decide whether to end the nearly two decade-long war or to prolong conflict by remaining in Afghanistan.
