According to local reporting Palestinian terrorists launched over 200 missiles into Tel Aviv, with Israeli forces intercepting many of them using an “Iron Dome.” This Dome successfully shielded the city from over 90% of the projectiles aimed toward heavily populated areas.
Sadly, the Iron Dome did not intercept all Hamas rockets and several civilian targets were struck, injuring dozens, and killing at least two. The current highest estimate of injuries in Tel Aviv is 31.
The IDK released a statement following the Palestinian attack into Israeli territory:

Public schools and large gatherings were ordered to close within 25 miles of the Gaza Strip. Numerous nearby cities opened bomb shelters to protect local residents.
“The Hamas terror organization is responsible for all events transpiring in the Gaza Strip and emanating from it, and will bear the consequences for terror activity against Israeli civilians,” the IDF added.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas forces that IDF plans to respond with “great force,” adding, “we do not want to escalate, but those who chose to attack with be hit forcefully.”
