Donald Trump sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity for an exclusive hour-long interview in which the Former President revealed the key to Republican success in the upcoming midterm elections.
Trump believes his “Make America Great Again” platform is the glue currently holding the Republican Party together, and will serve as the path to victory for new candidates.
As the working class exit the Democrat party, Trump’s “MAGA” agenda serves as a nice landing place for those disgruntled liberals who’ve had enough with their Party’s endless Anti-American, destructive rhetoric. Trump recalled a telling statistic from the 2020 election in which a majority of working-class Americans voted to reelect him.
When asked if his America First platform should now the dominant agenda in the Republican Party, Trump responded, “If the Republicans want to win, then yes.”
“If you want to win and win big, you have to do that. you have to do it.”

Trump’s rallying call behind his America First platform serves as a counter-tactic against the Democrats who, he believes, are successful because they stay unified, adding, “Democrats don’t have a Mitt Romney.”
However, Trump did express optimism for the future of the Republican Party. Pointing to the 2020 House elections, the Former President noted the massive success pro-MAGA Republicans had. Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats only hold a razor-thin majority in the House.
The interview quickly veered toward the current crisis on the border, which Trump believes will be the Democrats’ downfall.

“There’s never been anything like what’s happened at our border and people are coming in by the tens of thousands,”
Trump said Biden could’ve prevented a crisis if he “just left the border alone.”
