In a disgusting display that proves the left knows no limits when it comes to their hatred of President Trump – countless media outlets, news anchors, and even top Democrats celebrated the death of Robert Trump while the president mourned the loss of his younger brother and others were even upset that the “wrong trump” had passed.
The president issued a statement late Saturday night which read: “It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”
Twisted Democrats apparently saw a moment of weakness and used it to attack President Trump and his family – with #WrongTrump trending on Twitter as news of Robert’s death spread throughout the social media site.
As of Sunday morning, the hashtag was the second highest trending on Twitter, with more than 77,600 tweets.
In one sick example of the trending hashtag being used, Journalist David Leavitt tweeted, “What did he promise the devil for the Grim Reaper to take the #wrongtrump ???”
While another disturbing instance saw a pastor and NAACP leader, tweeting out, “Dear Grim Reaper, You took the #wrongtrump.”
In an outright disrespectful attack on the Trump family, The Washington Post used the obituary of Robert Trump to take shots at the family – despite a history of writing flattering obituaries for even some of world’s most dangerous terrorists.
The Washington Post wrote “Robert Trump, younger brother of President Trump who filed lawsuit against niece, dies at 71.”
Former ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, however, received a much more compassionate obituary from the left wing media outlet which read: “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State, dies at 48.”
Making sure their attacks covered every angle, some leftists even used the death to speculate – with no evidence – that Robert had died due to the President’s “mishandling” of the coronavirus Other leftists used the death to attack Trump and speculated over the cause of death, suggesting that there might be a cover-up to prevent people from knowing what he died from.
Seattle-based conservative radio host Jason Rantz highlighted a tweet from Max Berger, a former staffer from Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s failed presidential campaign, that stated: “Look, I know it’s not ‘politically correct’ to say this, but it’s really sad Donald Trump’s brother died from the pandemic. COVID took the wrong Trump.”
The president had traveled to New York City on Friday to visit his ailing brother. A senior administration official said at the time the president “has a very good relationship with his brother and his brother is very special to him.”
Robert Trump was the youngest of the five Trump siblings and passed 11 days before his 72nd birthday.
