Liberals Can’t Even Conceal Their Anti-American Agenda Anymore

As Americans prepare to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th, some Democrat officials are working tirelessly to destroy the patriotic fun only to replace it with Far-Left festivities. As we unthaw from the global pandemic, many Americans have expressed elation for their upcoming July 4th celebrations. However, citing COVID, some cities have ended all Independence Day activities.

Meanwhile, a Democrat-run town in Illinois is holding major events in celebration of gay pride and Juneteenth, the newest federal holiday, despite preemptively canceling Fourth of July activities.

Co-founder of RealClearPolitics, who’s hometown is Evanston, Illinois took to twitter to reveal the liberal hypocrisy.

After Joe Biden signed a bill last week making Juneteenth a federal holiday, the city of Evanston celebrated with a massive parade featuring musical performances and other entertainment — with no attendance cap or social distancing, as was the cited concern for Fourth of July festivities. The city has also planned a massive pride parade for later this month.

The City of Evanston cancelled all Fourth of July festivities out of COVID concerns, yet those concerns are apparently not applicable to Far-Left celebrations. Yet, since when was Fourth of July a political celebration? Americans nationwide from across the political spectrum enjoy celebrating Independence with backyard BBQs and other outdoor activities. But with Democrats everything is political, and nothing can be enjoyed unless it’s political correct at the time.

“Based on concern for public health due to the unpredictability of the pandemic’s impact, vaccination rates, and in cooperation with our local authorities, the Trustees of the Evanston Fourth of July Association voted to cancel the Fun Run, Parade, Palatine Concert Band performance and Lakefront Fireworks show on July 4, 2021.”

The City of Evanston reached a new milestone in their recovery from the pandemic. Not one new case of COVID-19 was reported, a first since the pandemic began. Additionally, 87% of Evanston residents 12 and over have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccination, putting them well ahead of what’s required for heard immunity. Still, organizers have not indicated that they will reconsider their Fourth of July cancellation.
