Libs Lose It Over Trump’s NASCAR Visit: ‘He Broke Another Law’

Trump did, in fact, make history when he became only one of four U.S. presidents to visit a NASCAR event and only the second sitting president to do so, but some liberals online are more bothered that the president “broke another law.”

These liberals are arguing President Trump broke the law on Sunday afternoon, during his visit to the Daytona International Speedway, when he took his presidential limousine—”the Beast”—a full lap around the track.

Take a look:

“It is illegal for elected officials to use taxpayer resources for personal political events. The presidential limo is not owned by Trump. It is owned by the taxpayers. Trump went to the Daytona 500 as part of his presidential election campaign. It wasn’t an official presidential event,” the accompanying article reports.

The report seems to argue President Trump crossed the lines of official and political events, ultimately violating the Hatch Act. The law prevents people in government from using official resources to put on a political event, it also includes using official platforms for political speeches. In either case, it does not, however, apply to the president.

Several people online supported the president’s appearance at the venue and thought his use of “the Beast” was awesome:
