Senate’s Oldest Socialist Whack Job Wants To Be President — Again

Hasn’t this old fool had enough yet?

Or maybe he’s broke and needs another round of college kids to donate to another campaign?

Either way, to even consider Crazy Bernie as a viable presidential candidate is laughable. It’s an impossibility on multiple levels, his age being the most pertinent.

According to a leaked memo, the socialist Senator from Vermont has apparently not given up his dreams of becoming President of the United States.

Bernie Sanders, who ran campaigns in the last two cycles and is now 80, “has not ruled out another run for president” in the event President Joe Biden does not seek reelection, according to the memo distributed to allies written by Faiz Shakir, a senior adviser to Sanders.

“In the event of an open 2024 Democratic presidential primary, Sen. Sanders has not ruled out another run for president, so we advise that you answer any questions about 2024 with that in mind,” says the memo, according to a report published by the Washington Post.

Sanders spokesman Mike Casca told the news outlet that the assertion in the memo was based on a recent poll. “While it’s frustrating this private memo leaked to the media, the central fact remains true, which is that Sen. Sanders is the most popular officeholder in the country,” Casca said.

The most popular officeholder in the country?!

Is that some kind of joke?

The memo also details proposed answers to questions likely to come involving Sanders, including whether he would challenge Biden in 2024.

“Sen. Sanders is focused on helping Joe Biden have a successful presidency. As Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, no one fought harder for the president’s policy agenda than Bernie. He traveled to Republican Congressional Districts last summer to promote Build Back Better. Unfortunately, that legislation was stopped by corporate Democrats,” the response read.

In other words, the so-called Chairman failed to convince members of a political party he aligns with to pass the Democrat President’s economic agenda?

Seems like a real success story.

However, Biden, only one year Sanders’ junior, has reportedly begun telling his closest advisors (including Barack Obama) that he will definitely seek reelection, especially if Donald Trump throws his hat in the ring come 2024.

Good luck to the whack-os. You’re going to need it!
