Since leaving office Former President Trump’s official endorsements have become highly coveted by GOP hopefuls. Most recently, Trump endorsed Susan Wright to replace her late husband’s House seat in Texas.
The special election to replace the late Rep. Ron Wright, R-Texas, is set for Saturday.

The Saturday race should be a stunner as it features a multitude of candidates. In addition to Wright, there are 10 other Republicans, 10 Democrats, and one Libertarian in the race.
Susan Wright recognized President Trump’s endorsement on twitter, thanking him and reiterating her dedication to his America First agenda:

Her husband, Ron Wright, died Feb. 7. He became the first sitting Congressman to perish due to complications of COVID-19. Wright was 67. Wright was reelected in November in the midst of an ongoing cancer battle.
